Frequently asked questions

"Does this mess with our AMS license?"

No. It reads your AMS screen the way an employee would and fills it in for you — nothing to install on the AMS side, nothing that requires special access, nothing that puts your license at risk.

"Is our data safe?"

Yes — we're a Microsoft Certified Partner, everything's AWS encrypted, and each agency's data is completely walled off from every other agency's. Nothing is shared or mixed between agencies.

"What if we want to stop using it?"

Nothing to unwind. Since it never replaces or touches your AMS license, walking away is as simple as no longer logging in.

"What does this actually do?"

It takes the busywork out of getting a submission from quote to bind — comparing quotes side by side, tracking what's still missing, getting clean data into your AMS without retyping everything.

"How does it connect to our email/Outlook?"

It connects to your Outlook inbox using OAuth — that's the same secure, standard method banks and other software use to link accounts without ever seeing or storing your password. Once connected, it watches for quotes and broker replies coming in and pulls them into the platform automatically, so you're not digging through your inbox. We can either parse the data out (like a quote) or just save it as correspondence for the record, keeping everything organized.

"Is OAuth safe? What does it actually give you access to?"

OAuth only grants the specific permission you approve — in this case, reading matching emails from your configured brokers. It's never given your actual Outlook password, and you can revoke that access at any time from your own Microsoft account settings, same as disconnecting any other app.

"Does it work with [specific AMS]?"

It's built to work with basically any AMS screen, so it's not locked to a short list of "supported" systems.

"Is this hard to set up?"

No — days, not months. Nothing to install with your AMS provider, no IT approval process to wait on.

"What lines of business does this support?"

Commercial lines, with a focus on surplus lines (E&S) — the workflow most agencies find the most painful to manage by hand.

"Do our brokers/MGAs need to do anything differently?"

No. You still talk to brokers and MGAs exactly like you do today — this just organizes and tracks that communication on your side.

"What happens with renewals?"

It tracks upcoming expirations and carries the prior bound quote forward as a reference, so nothing sneaks up on you and you can see what's changed at a glance.
